Therapy by video

One to one, from your own kitchen table

For adults anywhere in Iowa who would rather not drive after a long day.

  • A short guide before you start

How to join, what to do if the connection drops, and how to find a private corner.

  • You must be in Iowa

Our clinicians are licensed in Iowa, so you need to be in Iowa during the session.

  • Weeknights and Sundays

Chaeyoung Jung and Lloyd Tolliver see people by video, and so do several others by arrangement.

Before you book

What to know first

  • How we work

Therapy by video is the same as an office hour. Your clinician explains the approach they use and where they trained.

  • What this is not

Video is not for a crisis. If you are in crisis, call or text 988. If it is an emergency, call 911, and tell your clinician where you are at the start of each session.

  • What you need

A private room, a phone, tablet or computer with a camera, and a connection that holds for 50 minutes. We do not record sessions.

  • How it is paid

The same as at the office, with insurance or by the session, with a written estimate in advance.

    How fees work

By video

Where we see people by video

By video we see people in the state where we are licensed: today, Iowa. You must be in Iowa during the session.

  • Sioux City
  • Sergeant Bluff
  • Le Mars
  • Cherokee
  • Storm Lake
  • Spencer
  • Des Moines
  • Cedar Rapids

If you are outside Iowa during the session, we cannot yet see you by video. We will help you find someone licensed where you live, and you are welcome at the Pierce Street office.
